Week 4: Vikings at Lions

Following a shocking upset victory over the San Francisco 49ers in week three, the Minnesota Vikings will look to continue their strong start while attempting to put the Lions in a 1-3 hole. So far this season the Vikings have been one of the NFL’s most surprising teams, Peterson is playing as though he never tore his ACL, and Christian Ponder is playing like he is a seasoned veteran. With the high level of play from those two, and solid defensive play from the NFL’s 9th ranked defense, the Vikings will look to support the statement they made last week by letting everyone know that their victory over the 49ers was not a week three fluke. The Lions have a very explosive offense, but their secondary is one of the worst in the NFL, if Ponder can play the way he has in the past two weeks, expect him to be able to put up big numbers against the Lions.
